Description
Floradix Liquid Iron and Vitamin Formula contains a highly absorbable form of ferrous gluconate (iron). It is easy to take and helps safeguard the balance of iron and vitamins B1, B2, B6, B12 and C. As these nutrients are already dissolved they are absorbed more quickly in the digestive system compared to tablets. Floradix Liquid contains no alcohol, preservatives or colourings. It is suitable for women including expectant and lactating mothers, children, adolescents, the elderly, convalescents, vegetarians and those with an active lifestyle. Floradix Contains organic iron from ferrous gluconate, vitamins B2, B6, B12 and C which contribute to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue and to normal energy-yielding metabolism. In addition, iron contributes to normal red blood cell (supported by vitamins B6 and B12) and haemoglobin formation. Furthermore Vitamin C increases iron absorption.
Directions:
Shake well before use. Do not drink directly from the bottle and use the measuring cap provided. Take on an empty stomach approx. 30 mins before a meal. Adults and children from 12 years: 10ml twice daily. Children 6 – 11 years: 10ml once daily. Children 3 – 5 years: 5ml once daily.
Important: This product contains iron, which, if taken in excess, may be harmful to very young children. The indicated recommended daily dose should not be exceeded. Food supplements should not be taken as an alternative to a balanced diet and a healthy lifestyle. This product does not contain alcohol or chemical preservatives. To prevent the contents from spoiling, once opened close the bottle after every use, store upright in the refrigerator and consume within 4 weeks. Keep out of reach of young children. Store unopened bottle upright in a cool dry place. (5 – 25°C).
